This year, WMC moved the panels from a hotel to the Miami Beach Convention Center.   The logic was probably to force everyone to register - rather that allow hotel guests to sneak into the pool/lobby area.  Whether this new location helped or not - I am not sure.. a big majority of people stayed by one of two pools.  I will comment that their hired security force was awfully pushy and rude.. a sentiment shared by many delegates.

You can always tell I am hanging out with - because they show up in a bunch of pictures - my roommates Tingo Jr and Joe Bermudez are in a BUNCH of pictures - as is Danny C who I followed around for a while.
