Friday night Lisa Lisa hosted  the showcases at  Backstreet.  You know what they say - third time is the charm..

Seeing Kimara Lovelace perform made me into a fan.  Both of her hits "Circles" and "When Can Our Love Begin" had the crowd screaming.  Her new single "I Love You More" is beginning to take off in the clubs as well!  I loved the bongo player also - what a great idea!

Sevana Stone was the A&R Panel discovery.  The song was produced by the legendary Ralphi Rosario.  I can't wait to hear more from her!

I was jumping for joy as Joi Cardwell took the stage.  I saw her last year in San Diego and I knew her performance would be fierce.  Joi has an amazing skill of being able to sing directly to you.  What I mean, is that in a room of 5000 people - she seems to be singing as if you are the only person there.  I am totally into her song "Last Chance for Love" which she has released on her own label - NoMad records.

Traxx recording artist Erin Hamilton showed why she is the diva du jour on the circuit scene.  "Satisfied," "Dreamweaver" and "The Flame" are all anthems. Seeing her work that pole, it's hard to believe she is Carol Burnett's daughter!

"Music is the answer to your problems.."  Hearing Celeda sing takes you back to church.  A gospel trained singer, she belted on stage!  Wow, what a voice..

Byron Stingily is all about class.  Looking sharp as hell in that white suit and singing his heart out, he held his ground as the only male artist performing Saturday night.  Look for the new Johnny Vicious mixes of his song "That's the Way Love Is' to be explode!

Canadian pop superstars Love Inc gave a slick well rehearsed performance.  It's obvious they have toured extensively.  Hearing Symone sing "You're a Superstar" blew me away - what a voice.  If you like Love Inc, check out Chris Sheppard's last project First Base.  If y

No disrespect to the other artists, but Kristine W stole the show.  Hands down - no competition!   I took about a million pictures and these are few of my favorites.  She sang the big songs of her first album "One More Try," "Feel What You Want," "Land of the Living" and the awesome Eddie Baez mix of "Sweet Mercy Me." She also previewed a few of the songs from her upcoming RCA album (still untitled) - look for "Clubland" and "Never Been Kissed" to be HUGE!!!

She also had the sexiest dancers!! Yum!
