Artrageous Escapade
What a wonderful evening!! Without a doubt the best party Nashville has ever seen. Take a look at these pictures and share the memories. While you are thinking about it - call Nashville CARES (615-259-4866) and make a donation!
Martha Wash kicked the night into high gear with "Come," "Carry On," and "It's Raining Men." Joining her on stage were some really hot menz - but my pics didn't turn out. If you have any pics of the boys - email me. Thanks to MAC Cosmetics for sponsoring Martha's performance!!

Surprise special guest - Curb recording artist Mary Griffin worked the crowd into a frenzy.

First came the drummers who played
the intro to "We Can Get There"
(Great Idea! - Don't You Think??) |
The lights came up and Mary Griffin appeared - performing her club hits "We Can Get There" and "Knock on Wood (from Studio 54)". "We Can Get There" is available on cd single through Amazon or locally through Tower Records. "Knock on Wood" is taken from the Studio 54 soundtrack.

(On a personal note - Seeing Mary Griffin perform in Nashville is a dream come true. The song "We Can Get There" is one of Nashville's biggest anthems and one of the most inspirational songs I have ever heard. Seeing her perform in San Diego was phenomenal and I have wanted her to come to Nashville so bad. Meeting in her person was truly awesome. Mary is one of the sweetest, nicest and most caring people I have ever met. I am not religous - but I believe she was blessed by God with her voice to share love with everyone in the world. Please show your support for this gifted artist - and purchase the CD single for "We Can Get There" at Tower Records or online at Amazon Records)
Nashville's finest female impersonators showed off their talent and creativity to a wildly enthusiastic audience.

Amazing stage and set design - kudos to all the hard working laborers who spent all day setting up the stage - and all morning tearing it down..

The brains behind the party - the most wonderful and phenomenally sweet gentleman you may ever have the pleasure to meet - Jon Howard. He worked hours and days and months to put this party together. Next time you see Jon, give him a big hug and thank him for putting on such an amazing show.
