The lights came up and Mary Griffin appeared - performing her club hits "We Can Get There" and "Knock on Wood (from Studio 54)". "We Can Get There" is available on cd single through Amazon or locally through Tower Records. "Knock on Wood" is taken from the Studio 54 soundtrack.

(On a personal note - Seeing Mary Griffin perform in Nashville is a dream come true. The song "We Can Get There" is one of Nashville's biggest anthems and one of the most inspirational songs I have ever heard. Seeing her perform in San Diego was phenomenal and I have wanted her to come to Nashville so bad. Meeting in her person was truly awesome. Mary is one of the sweetest, nicest and most caring people I have ever met. I am not religous - but I believe she was blessed by God with her voice to share love with everyone in the world.
